Why should you let Paw Seasons care for your dog?

  • We didn’t just want to run a salon. We wanted to run a business that cared for the environment as much as our clients

  • All shampoos, conditioners and colognes we use are totally natural and 100% biodegradable

  • We pay a premium for the best ingredients because we know it makes a difference

  • All waste packaging is recycled

  • Our hydrobath uses the latest in water recycling technology to eliminate waste while ensuring that quality isn’t compromised

  • Solar panels ensure the majority of our energy use is powered by the sun, not fossil fuels.

At Paw Seasons Salon we pride ourselves on caring for dogs, owners and the planet.

About the owner:

My name is Jen and I run Paw Seasons Salon. I’ve been passionate about caring for animals since I was a young girl and have had many different pets of all shapes and sizes. However it's fair to say my career path to working with animals, and ultimately becoming a professional groomer, hasn’t been the most conventional!

At school I was always keen on becoming a vet but my skill set and other keen interest in geography led me in a different academic direction. I studied Town Planning for 4 years at the University of Sheffield where I secured a BA Honours and Diploma. Following university I became a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and enjoyed a successful 10 year career in the industry.

However, my love of animals and especially dogs didn’t go away and I made the ‘now or never’ decision to retrain as a dog groomer in 2016. Juggling a full time job and training every Saturday with 'Best In Show' winning groomer Amy Manser in her busy grooming salon was a challenge, but it was all worth it. After 20 weeks of training I graduated with a distinction in my City & Guilds qualification, and accredidtation in Canine First Aid. I left with invaluable experience and a network of equally passionate grooming professionals to share ideas and advice with.

I started Paw Seasons Salon because I wanted to devote my career to animals, but also to do my bit for the environment. We’re all in it together so the more I can do to lessen my footprint, the happier I’ll be.
